FAQ

  • 1. Do I need any experience to participate in this class?
    No, not at all. Our classes are welcoming to beginners and seasoned movers alike. Modifications are given in every class so you can feel successful at any level.

    2. What if I haven’t worked out in years?
    There’s no better time to begin than today. Our classes are designed with all levels in mind, and modifications will help you ease back into movement in a safe, encouraging environment.

    3. What should I bring to class?
    Bring water and grip socks (both are sold at the studio if you forget). A yoga mat is provided, however you are welcome to bring your own. We have all other props you might need.

    4. What should I wear?
    Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely. We practice barefoot or in grip socks.

    5. Can I take this class if I have injuries?
    Your safety is our top priority. All of our instructors are trained to offer modifications and alternative movements to meet your needs. If you’re recovering from an injury, let your instructor know before class so we can support you fully. And always listen to your body and your physician.

    6. Do I need to be flexible to do yoga?
    Not at all! Yoga helps build flexibility. You don’t have to be flexible to start—just willing to move and breathe. Every pose can be adjusted to meet you where you are.

    7. What’s the difference between Yin, Vinyasa, and Yoga Flow?

    • Yin Yoga: Deep, passive stretches held for longer—great for recovery and stress relief.

    • Vinyasa: A more dynamic style with flowing sequences that build heat and mobility.

    • Yoga Flow: A gentle, steady-paced class focused on stretching and breathwork—perfect for all levels.

    8. What if I’ve never done yoga before?
    That’s totally okay! Our classes are beginner-friendly, with clear instruction and options for every movement. You’ll never feel lost—we’ve got you.

    9. How often should I do yoga?
    Even once or twice a week can make a big difference in how your body feels and moves. Yoga is a great way to supplement your other workouts and reduce stress.

    10. Will yoga help me with soreness from my workouts?
    Absolutely. Our yoga classes are designed to release tight muscles, increase flexibility, and help your body recover faster between workouts.
